Social Determinants of Health - Michigan

The Michigan Department of Health approached us to create a mural for their virtual event, which aimed to bring together stakeholders from various sectors to discuss collaborative initiatives that could improve health outcomes by incorporating social care and healthcare resources.

The mural had to represent the state of Michigan and showcase the strategies to improve the state's roadmap to building healthy communities. We focused on visual elements that represented Improvement, Alignment, Innovation, Housing Stability, and Food Security.

The mural was created over two days during the event breaks. On the first day, we painted the background and artwork, while on the second day, we added the attendees' submissions onto the mural.\We are excited to share the video summary of the two-day painting session we did for the Michigan Department of Health's event on Social Determinants of Health. It was a great experience to work on this project that highlights the importance of collaboration across various sectors to promote better health outcomes.
